2025 PART TIME WAGES:

Paid Per Call Firefighter     $18.00     (with no certifications)
Paid Per Call Firefighter     $23.50     (with ELFF certification)
Paid Per Call Firefighter     $28.50     (with Fire Fighter 1 Certification)
Paid Per Call Firefighter     $34.00     (Regular Member - Full Certification Requirement Met)

Part Time EMT Basic ONLY     $21.00/hour
Part Time AEMT ONLY     $22.50/hour
Paramedic ONLY     $25.25/hour
Critical Care Paramedic ONLY     $27.50/hour

FULL TIME WAGE RANGE (Probationary to After 5 Years - HOURLY RATE)

EMT     $21.33 - $24.85/hour
AEMT     $22.40 - $26.08/hour
PARAMEDIC     $29.46 - $35.90/hour
CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC     $30.93 - $37.71/hour
LIEUTENANT     $32.48 - $39.60/hour

Testing Process for Applicants

Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic & Part-Time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic

  • Written Examination-This examination is written to your current provider level and uses National Registry Curriculum for the test questions. Any CPR or ACLS/PALS questions are to the current AHA guidelines. There are no protocol specific questions. The test also includes fire related questions to the IFSAC Firefighter I certification level.
  • Physical Agility Test-The physical agility test is designed to test endurance, mobility and physical function. A copy of the physical agility test can be found here. Firefighter Physical Test
  • EMS scenario-The EMS scenario is designed to test your medical skills to your current provider level.
  • Personnel Evaluation Profile
  • Panel Interview

Part-Time EMS only
